I KIND OF went by this recipe (it's on the pasta box) except not completely. My changes:
- I halfed it (not really a change I guess)-- I used Zuchini instead of meat, so it qualifies as a vegetarian dish -- I only used the egg white --
I think that is it. I think it was really good and I would make it again. Scale of 1 to 10? an 8. Derek said, "it smells good" (He can't really taste because he has a cold..he said he can't taste anything) oh and Lucas Loved it. so that should tell ya..jk
pretty sloppy- but hey I'm not a Culinary school graduate and also, I don't care
Lucas is so cute! I think that's always the first thing I say to you, sorry. I think the lasagna looks good. Sloppy is appealing when it comes to cheese. And Derek...what a dork! (I mean that in the most endearing of ways). The only thing that stops you from tasting when your sick is the fact that you have no sense of smell because your nose is stuffed up! So if he can smell, he can taste.
ReplyDeleteQuick question: When you substitute zucchini, do you cook it or steam it or something first? Or do you just cut it up and throw it in?
LOL! those were my exact same words to him!
ReplyDeleteoh whoops..your Q- yeah- just peel, thinly slice the long way and add. I should've added that sorry- and don't worry- Lucas is our star so its not lke we are offended, quite the opposite actually- Thanks Cheryl
